Israel to close West Bank, Gaza for Jewish holiday

Israeli army will impose a comprehensive closure on both the West Bank and crossings leading to the Gaza Strip for three days starting Wednesday evening to celebrate the so-called Jewish "Purim" holiday, the occupation army announced on Tuesday.

During this period, the Israeli army will prevent Palestinian workers from the West Bank and Gaza to reach their work places in Israel. The Palestinians will be barred from moving through the crossings between the Palestinian territories and Israel except for exceptional cases, and after coordination with the occupation army.
