KOICA backs Jordan's E-Procurement System
جهينة -The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has provided an additional support of $674,000 to help Jordan's General Supplies Department develop an electronic content system for small and medium enterprises and integrate it into the unified e-procurement system.
The support is provided through the Export-Import Bank of Korea and was announced during a visit by the directors of the General Supplies Department and the Government Tenders Department and other government staff to South Korea.
The delegation met with representatives from KOICA, the Export-Import Bank of Korea, the Korea's Knowledge Sharing Program, the Korean Public Procurement Service, and the developer of the Kingdom's e-procurement system.
Director of the General Supplies Department Nizar Muhaidat praised the role of the South Korean government in building and developing the e-procurement system in Jordan.
During the visit, a meeting was held at the Korean Public Procurement Service to discuss the achievements and progress of the e-procurement system and possible future cooperation to further upgrade the system.
