Jordan, Iraq discuss cultural cooperation
جهينة -Minister of Culture and Youth, Mohammad Abu Rumman, on Sunday discussed with the Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan, Safia Suhail, the prospects of cooperation in the cultural and youth fields.
During the meeting, Abu Rumman highlighted the ministry's future projects, especially the 2019 Amman International Book Fair, and the launch of the Political Institute.
Abu Rumman said coordination between the two countries' culture ministries aims to organize joint youth activities and to kick off cultural exchange.
For her part, the Iraqi envoy stressed the importance of exchanging activities in building bridges of cooperation between Jordanian and Iraqi youth, calling for expanding them to serve common interests of the two countries' peoples.
