Agricultural Producers' Price Index up 7%

جهينة نيوز - The Price Index of Agricultural Producers has picked up 7% during the first seven months of 2019, reaching 110 points, compared with 103 points during the same period last year.

The rise of agricultural producers' prices was attributed to a price spike in a number of agricultural crops, notably eggplant (41%), bell pepper (29%), tomatoes (27%), potatoes (24%), green bell pepper (14%), and bananas (1%), according to data issued by the Department of Statistics (DoS).
