House Speaker, Tunisian minister stress pan-Arab solidarity

جهينة نيوز - Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Atef Tarawneh on Monday held talks with Tunisia's Foreign Minister Khamis Juheinawi focusing on ways to boost pan-Arab solidarity and advance Arab causes, chief of which is the Palestinian issue.

Tarawneh renewed Jordan's unwavering stance to defend the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem despite all challenges and pressures.

The Tunisian minister expressed his country's appreciation of Jordan's moderate stances and efforts, spearheaded by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to serve the Palestinian issue, stressing the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation between the two countries on various issues of common concern.

The talks touched on a number of Middle East issues and Jordanian-Tunisian relations.
