Divers recover body of man who drowned in dam

جهينة نيوز - Civil Defence divers Saturday recovered the body of a young man who drowned yesterday in the King Talal Dam in the Jerash Governorate after hours of grueling search.

Jerash Governor Mamoun al-Lozi said that diving and rescue teams have pursued their search since the man was missing, and finally found the body and transferred it to the Prince Hussein Government Hospital.

Civil Defence Department spokesman Lt. Col. Iyad al-Amr said in a statement that the rough terrain, the rising silt level, thick shrubs and low visibility hindered the search operation.
