Israeli suppression units assault Palestinian detainees
The assaults come after police attacked and beat detainees last night in the Negev Detention Center, leaving 25 prisoners injured, two critically, after prisoners stabbed and injured two wardens.
The commission said that the detention center's administration took the prisoners from their cells in extreme weather and brutally assaulted them.
"It is a war crime and a violation of the international humanitarian law," it said, adding "it is an infringement on prisoners' basic rights, and a crude behavior that reflects the ongoing criminal Israeli mentality and terrorism."
The Palestinian commission called on the international community to intervene quickly to stop the attacks.
